One Thrifty Gurl is currently under construction. We are attempting to make this blog more user friendly and to resolve any issues that readers have had. Please bear with us as most of the code is being hand written. Please contact me if there is something you are looking for. I would like to sincerely thank all of my sponsors and followers because without you none of this is possible. Please come back for our grand re-design giveaway! We will have a huge prize valued at over $200! Links in the drop down menu will work in the coming days. However we are currently creating the landing pages. If you are a sponsor and cannot find your review please contact me, some of them were lost in the process so I will need to locate it in my backup files and re-post. We want to make sure that all of our sponsors reviews are being seen. Thank You again to everyone that makes this possible. If you have an item you would like me to review you are welcome to contact me - I will be accepting 5 new reviews each month until the process is done. You can also submit items for my guest bloggers Jacqueline, a seventeen year old fashionista and dancer and my mother, Liz.

Steps4Kids #Multiplication DVD - #Giveaway and #Review (9/23) - School Dayz

My two youngest brothers are in 4th and 7th grade. Both of them are working on or with some form of multiplication. I was very excited to have the opportunity to review the Steps4Kids Multiplication DVD with both Brock and Wesley.

This teaching tool was selected as "DVD of the Year" by CreativeChild Magazine. This is no surprise as this 80 minute video offers many children a leg up with learning multiplication by incorporating both video and audio instructions, activities and tips.

I would say Brock, the 4th grader has benefited the most from the video. Since he is just learning multiplication this video has helped him solidify and review the information he is learning at school. Another great benefit for Brock is the auditory assistance that this video offers. Brock, as some of you may know, suffers from an eye-tracking learning disorder that makes reading and looking at text on paper very difficult.

Wesley, who may be a bit above the DVD has learned some fun tricks to make remembering and using multiplication fast and easy.

As an educator and big sister I think this $24.99 video will help children learn their multiplication tables. I must say watching the video also assisted me with my multiplication during my Roulette dealing class as well! This is a great video that teaches children the math and the correct mathematical vocabulary as well. Check out this and the other Steps4Kids videos today.

What I loved about this video:
~ Bright and engaging pictures: with numbers and other visuals to help children visualize the math.
~ Problems and solutions set up both vertically and horizontally. Perfect for new learners.
~ Auditory instructions as well as visual explanations.

Would you like to win a copy of the Multiplication video from Steps4Kids? This company has offered to give a One Thrifty Gurl reader the same video I reviewed with my family.
