How To Be God's Little Princess by Shiela Walsh is a great introduction to teenage life for any pre-teen girl. I really love this book. It is interesting and full of great ideas and little etiquette lessons. I wish this book was available when I was twelve! I would have read and re-read it!

I love that it is an easy read. Any new language is described and the self-help aspects of the book are broken up by quizzes, activities (complete with instructions) and mini games. This book is sure to keep any little girl interested, and it is great to introduce growing girls to their new teenage self.

This book is written from a Christian viewpoint so each aspect and lesson is introduced by a Bible verse. I really like this book's design. I enjoyed that each chapter had verses to support the lessons, ideas for the growing girl, and activities to reiterate the general concept. One example, is from the chapter, "How To Wear a Tiara". In this section, all about etiquette, little girls learn safety tips for shopping at the mall and going to the movies. I think there is a lot of very pertinent information available to girls that read this book.

I recommend this book for all little girls that are in that awkward stage of becoming big girls. It is well written and interesting. This is a book young girls will treasure for years to come! I think this is a great book for gifting, it has a nice price, only $9.99 and has a hard cover!

I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and my differ from yours. There was no financial compensation for this review.
